ENTRY #02 FROM THE PRIVATE WATCHER'S DIARY OF RUPERT GILES.

She has friends.

My Slayer has friends.

And not just the kind with whom she goes to classes, but friends who know what she is and what she does. Friends who have, in fact, been 'involved'.

Does she not understand the whole 'alone' and 'secrecy' aspect of being a Slayer?

I shall have to speak to her.

It is simply not acceptable to have non-trained people involved. She will have to understand that. She will have to tell them they cannot help her.

I simply cannot allow it. I would be failing in my duties as a Watcher if I allowed such a flagrant flouting of the rules.

She may have her friends during classes, even at lunchtimes, but that is all.

I shall inform her of this fact later.
