It was all about control.
He could do it. He knew he could.
He could do it. He had to.
Damn it he was a trained agent. He was trained not to give things away.
He could do it.
He could control himself.
He could control his desires, his wants, his needs.
He could do it.
He could control his impulse to stop the elevator, grab Gibbs and kiss him.
He could.
He had to.
It was simple, he'd just think about something else.
He'd wouldn't think about the dark blue all too knowing gaze that seemed able to see inside you.
He wouldn't think about the silver hair. He wouldn't think about running his hands over it.
He wouldn't think about the combined scents of Old Spice, sawdust and coffee. He wouldn't think about how they tantalized him.
He wouldn't think about the gun callused hands. He wouldn't think about them caressing that damn boat of his. And he certainly wouldn't think about them caressing him.
He wouldn't think about the lips that had kissed the same woman as he'd kissed. And he sure as hell wouldn't think about them on his lips.
He wouldn't think about the firm body. He wouldn't think about what the clothes covered.
He wouldn't think about the weather tanned face and how handsome Gibbs was.
He wouldn't think about any of those things.
He wouldn't.
He couldn't.
Gibbs was his friend.
Gibbs wasn't gay.
Gibbs wasn't even bi.
Gibbs had no interest in men.
Gibbs certainly had no interest in him.
He'd just get into the elevator with him and -
And control himself.
It was as simple as that.
He could do it. He had to do it.
It was all about control.
"Let's take the stairs today, reckon I need the exercise."
