Bodie wasn't great at sharing personal stuff. At least not about his past.
Over the years Doyle had gathered together bits and pieces, morsels, mere fragments of his partner's life before they'd met. And he'd carefully filed each of them away; guarding them jealously, like a kid with a favourite toy.
From them he'd built a picture of the man he loved.
But it wasn't enough.
He wanted more.
But he knew he'd have to wait.
One day he believed.
One day he knew.
One day his partner, his friend, his lover, would trust him enough to tell him more.
