Darby Brennan

Doyle isn't really a sweet man.

An established relationship story.

Written: January 2008. Word count: 100.

Not many people would call Ray 'sweet'.

Hell, most of the time I wouldn't, and I love the little sod.

But when he drops his self-protective guard, when he lets his 'touch me not' aura fall for a moment, when he stops being stubborn and irritable and argumentative, then he can be sweet.

Least in my eyes he can.

And that's what matter, isn't it?

What I think.

Not what other people think.

So what if they still don't think Ray's sweet.

I do.

Because I know him.

I know what he'll do for me.

I know he loves me.
