He told me to get out.

He ordered me to leave him behind.

Refusal was not an option.

The mission had gone wrong.

The bomb which we had been assured would detonate was not going to do so. At least it would not do so without human intervention.

I told him that I should be, that I would be, the one to stay.

I told him he was worth more than I.

He did not listen to me.

He would not listen to me.

He, for one of the few times in our partnership, used his rank.

He told me I was the more versatile. I was more valuable to U.N.C.L.E. than he was

He told me I had to leave him behind, otherwise we would be breaking our promise to Mr. Waverly. The promise we made that we would not let our personal relationship interfere with our working one. We were U.N.C.L.E. agents first; lovers second.

He told me to get out.

He ordered me to leave him behind.

Refusal was not an option.

The mission had gone wrong.

What he may not be aware of is that if his life is forfeited then U.N.C.L.E. will lose us both. I cannot, I will not, remain without him. Both as an U.N.C.L.E. agent and also alive.

He told me to get out.

He ordered me to leave him behind.

Refusal was not an option.

The mission had gone wrong.

Now by Mr. Waverly's side I wait to see if the great Napoleon Solo's luck has held true or whether . . .

"I'm sorry, Mr. Kuryakin."

I believe he is. But not as sorry as I am. "Thank you, sir."

He told me to get out.

He ordered me to leave him behind.

Refusal was not an option.

Our mission was a failure.
