IN MY HEAD
By

Steel remembers what it was like following his intimacy with Silver
An established relationship story.
Written: September 2007. Word count: 100.
When I first joined with Silver, when I allowed his mind to link with mine, it was like being joined with a multitude.
His thoughts were chaotic, like quicksilver. They jumped from one idea to another to another and back again.
It was like having a group in my head, all uttering different things simultaneously.
I was almost tempted to change my mind; to take time back; let him think it'd never happened.
Until I remembered another kind of chorus; the one that sounded that first time.
And I knew, I could not return to the emptiness in my head.
