Their bodies move together in perfect synchrony; just as they do on the street.

Their minds seem connected to one another; just as they are on the street.

But they aren't on the street now. They aren't out in the open, their friendship and working partnership clear for all to see.

They are in Hutch's apartment in his bed. They are behind closed doors, involved in a relationship that must not be clear to see.

Maybe the day will come when their covert relationship can be overt.

But for now it has to remain hidden.

"Love you, babe," Hutch whispers.
