I know now I made a mistake when I married Helen. We should have simply remained friends.

I know because home is no longer where Helen is. Home is where Barbara is.

Home is being with Barbara, watching her, talking to her, arguing with her, putting up with her.

That's home: Barbara not Helen.

But I married Helen. I must keep my promise.

I cannot tell Helen how I feel.

I cannot tell Barbara how I feel.

Maybe the day will come when Helen will leave.

Maybe the day will come when Barbara and I will find a home together.
