PERFECTION

There are times when only a bath will suffice.

I confess a shower has many advantages over a bath; it is quicker, it uses less water, and in many ways it is more hygienic.
However, there are times when nothing other than a bath, will suffice. To recline back in hot water, with maybe a glass of your favorite whiskey to hand, to be able to close your eyes and let the water lap around you, washing away the aches and pains that the day has caused, is perfection.
Well almost.
Another advantage a shower has over a bath is it is easier to share with the person you love, which often, of course, negates the object of it being quicker.
The solution to being able to enjoy the relaxation a long soak in hot water can give, plus the addition of Jethro to share the hot water was simple: I had a larger bath installed; one with taps in the middle.
So now when the day has been a particularly long one and my limbs and muscles are aching and crying out for a long recline in hot, lapping water, I can enjoy a lingering bath and my beloved at the same time.
Now that really is perfection.
