'Never again'. I told him when we returned from Canada.

Never again was I going to fly with him.

Never again was I going to Canada with him.

'I understand, Ray'. Is all he said.

Yeah. Right.

That was ten years ago.

And where are we now?

In the airport.

In the airport waiting to board a plane.

In the airport waiting to board a plane that will fly us to Canada.

Oh, well. I guess some vows are meant to be broken.

Unlike the 'death do us part' one Benny and I took.

That one will never be broken.
