Ray never used to think much about apples. Then he met Benny.

An established relationship story.

Written: October 2007. Word count: 100.

Until I met Benny I never really thought about apples. I mean they're just apples: hard, round, meant to be good for you, taste okay, nice in pies.

But they're all basically the same, right?

Wrong.

According to Benny there are over seven thousand different varieties in the world, and they all taste different.

According to Benny America alone grows over two thousand different varieties.

According to Benny apples are grown in every state of America.

According to Benny we are going to have apple trees in the garden of our house.

And what my Benny wants, my Benny gets.
