He was my Benny again.
He talked and talked and talked, about everything and anything.
Except one thing: all those months away from me.
Maybe I should have asked him.
But the truth is, I couldn't.
Instead I made a detour.
I stopped at a motel, took Benny into a room, and found the perfect way to quieten him.
And the truth is, now everything really is all right.
